ONE DEAD. TWO INJURED
Car And Truck Collide
(New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, December 4.
A woman was killed and two persons seriously injured when their car was involved in a headon collision with a truck about cne mile north of Waikanae shortly after 8 o’clock tonight. Only one of the three occupants of the car, # woman who was injured, has been identified. She is Mrs Nelson Nunns, of Hanover street, Wadestown, Wellington. Mrs Nunns and the other injured person, an unidentified man, were taken unconscious, to Wellington Hospital by the Otaki ambulance. The driver of the truck, George Jenkins, escaped from ,the crash without injury. Both vehicles were damaged extensively.
