Pedestrian Struck By Bus

A pedestrian suffered head injuries when he was struck by a Transport Board bus in Oxford terrace near the Christchurch Public Hospital, about 10.50 p.m. yesterday.

He is Alastair Gordon Patterson, aged 18, of 90 Ranfurly street, St. Albans.

According to the police, Patterson was believed to have been struck by the front of the bus, rolled underneath and finished up just in front of the rear wheel. Patterson was admitted to hospital with lacerations to the head. His condition last evening was satisfactory.
