Fined For Assault.— George
Ernest Grant Morrow, aged 25. a greaser in the overseas ship Port Auckland, pleaded guilty in the Lyttelton Magistrate’s Court yesterday to a charge of having assaulted David Taylor. Messrs A. B. P. Large and R. H. Duff. Justices of the Peace, fined him £7. Joseph Boland, a greaser in the same ship, was convicted of behaving in a disorderly manner while drunk in Jackson’s road, and was fined £l.
