The Minister of Internal Affairs (Mr Anderton) had no comment to make on an Auckland report that two new members of the Howick Borough Council may resign because the council has decided to hold its meetings during the day. Section 80 of the Municipal Corporations Act empowers local bodies to fix the time and place of their meetings.
