BRITISH POOLS
New Zealand Seeks Inclusion (New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, Dec. 1. The New Zealand Football Association Is to get in touch with five major British soccer pool organisations In an effort to get New Zealand included in their international systems. This was decided at a meeting tonight of the association’s council. The association wants the fixtures of the four main cetnres —Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch and Dunedin—sold to British pool interests in an endeavour to obtain finance. It is hoped the scheme will start next year. The association believes that because New Zealand time is 12 hours ahead of London, New Zealand results could be printed in Saturday evening’s papers in the United Kingdom. The association has agreed that any profits would be shared among the four associations participating.
