POSTAL ARCHERY SHOOT
Christchurch Club Results
The Christchurch Archery Club recently competed in a postal shoot against other clubs in New Zealand for the N. J. Ryan Memorial Shield. In the same shoot, of 96 arrows two teams, each being made up of three men and one woman. The winning teams will be announced by the New Zealand Archery Association in Auckland in January. In the same shoot, of 96 arrows at 50 yards, was a handicap event for the Hottie Pin award. Results were:— N. J. Ryan Memorial Shield.— A team: Mrs P. Hollay 595 points; F. Dickinson 652; C. Campbell 648; S. Davis 636. B team: Miss W. Hall 583 points: F. Hollay 617: R. Smales 560; L. Holstein 566. Hottie Pin Handicap.—Women: Miss W: Hall 677 points; Mrs P Hollay 676; Mrs D. Browne 561. Men: F. Dickinson 719 points; S.
Davis 717; N. Ryde 715. Intermediate: L. Holstein 664 points: R. Graham 653; G. Adams 631 Junior: A. Perkins 393 points; P. Torrance 367; P. Croucher 340.
