Migratory Habits
Of the 900 Maoris in the Christchurch city area, 700 had come from the, North Island, said the Rev. W. E. Falkingham. of Christchurch. at the annual Methodist conference at Wellington. Therfe were now more than 5000 Maoris in the South Island, and the figure was growing.
