PYRAMID MOWER HEARING
Technical / Arguments Submitted Submissions on technical matters relating to the Pyramid hydraulic mower were made by Mr R. B. Shand (junior counsel for W. H. Price and Son, Ltd.) when the mower dispute hearing continued in the Supreme Court yesterday. It was the one hundred and twenty-eighth day of the hearing. Mr R. A. Young, senior counsel for Price and Son, Ltd., who has already addressed the Court for 11 days, will make* further submissions on points of law next week. Mr Shand reviewed the technical evidence and argued that the mower was fundamentally Unsound in concept . The 1958 Pyramid mower was nothing more than a very costly prototype, developed as a result of the plaintiff’s experience With earlier types of mowers, and almost entirely at the expense of Price arid Sori, said Mr Shand.
