WANGANUI, Aug. 30. The weather was fine and the track fast for the first day of the Wanganui Jockey Club’s spring meeting on Saturday. The T.A.B. double, Peter Baffles and Bookful. paid £2l Is 6d for £l. The best aividend of the day was that of the farm-trained Prisa. which returned a win price of £lO5 8s in the Seafield Hack Handicap.
