POST-MORTEM ON RED REV
“The Press" Special Service HAMILTON, August 21. Advice has been received by the owner-trainer, J. P. Hayes, of Te Awamutu, from the Franklin Rac,ng Club, that a post-mortem examination carried out on his horse. Red Rev showed tliat the horse died of heart failure. Red Rev collapsed and died after the running of the First Belmont Stakes at the Franklin Racing Club’s winter fixture at Pukekohe early this month. Red Rev was hot favourite for the everit, and finished last.
