SEDDON SHIELD CHALLENGE
Golden Bay-Motueka And Nelson Draw
(New Zealand Press Association) NELSON, August 2.
Golden Bay-Motueka held the Seddon Shield holders. Nelson, to a 3-3 draw in the first challenge match of the season played at Nelson on Saturday. Neither team could score a try. Nelson’s points coming from a field goal by the fulLback, M Delaney, while G. Thorn kicked a penalty goal for Golden BayMotueka.
Nelson will play West Coast next Saturday.
