NAVAL SHOW AT FAIR
Further Display At Pegasus The Navy display at the Industries Fair will be transferred for further public showing when the fair ends. The resident naval officer (Lieu-tenant-Commander J. Pallet) said yesterday that the collection of fair exhibits would be moved to H.M.N.Z.S. Pegasus in Montreal street where they would be available for inspection from Tuesday, May 26, until Saturday, May 30. “All members of the public who want to see it then will be welcome and there will be no charge. “To the best of my knowledge it is the finest collection of naval exhibits ever got together at one time in the South Island and the maritime surroundings in H.M.N.Z.S. Pegasus should lend it some really genuine atmosphere,” he said.
