South Australia Beats Victoria
(N.Z. Press Association—Copyright) ADELAIDE, January 13. South Australia beat Victoria by eight wickets in the i Sheffield shield game at the Adelaide oval after batting for 165 minutes for the 135 runs required to win.
It was South Australia's first outright win over Victoria since 1952. South Australia dismissed Victoria for 203 in its second innings this morning.
Scores: Victoria 248 and 203; South Australia 317 and 135 for two.
