Darfield Seniors Lose To Juniors The defeat of Darfield seniors by the club’s junior side provided the main surprise in the Malvern Cricket Sub-association’s competition games on Saturday:— Details:— Darfield juniors 109 for seven (J. Gunn 54 not out, P. Burden 18; R. Gunn three for 34, B. Lenihan two for 34) beat Darfield seniors 99 (R. Mackay 27. R. Gunn 23; T. Thomson four for 36. M. Frew four for 25, J. Gunn two for 19) by 10 runs
on the first innings. Sheffield 124 (B. Jenkins 37, D. Deans 19, C. Croy 30; J. Dysart two for 25, D. Gunn two for 42, M. Lewis three for 21, B. Bloor three for 21) beat United 77 (D. Gunn 20, W. Croy 17, E. Frew 17; A. F. Wright five for 24, C. Croy two for 15) by 47 runs on the first innings. Greendale beat South Malvern.
