MINOR FIRES

iTiAisvrsx rutoo No damage was done by two chimney fires yesterday—one at 5 53 p.m. in a house occupied by Mr L. J. Mould at 76b Hackthome road, and the other at 7.30 p.m. in a house occupied by Mr A. Alexander, at 664 Ferry road. The first was attended by a unit from the St. Albans fire station and the second by a unit front Woolston. Slight damage was done to the wiring of a car which caught fire in Salisbury street at 8.21 pm. The car is owned by Mr J. Dekuzer, 19 Parrish street, Burwood. A unit from the Central Are station answered the call.
