Roads Will Be Dangerous

He warned motorists to be careful, and cyclists to take particular care on all city streets.
For three-quarters of a mile on either side of Bankside, where the road ’ is shaded by trees, the icing is severe. There is another bad patch on the Ashburton side of the Rangitata bridge.
Conditions on Evans Pass are also expected to be dangerous. The frost yesterday morning was 11.8 degrees and on Saturday 9.2 degrees was recorded at Harewood.
