Castle beat H. G. Fowler, 4 and 2; B. G. McGarry lost to B. Helm, 3 and 2; W. Angus lost to M. Chapple, 6 and 5; I. Wilby D. Cobden-Cox, 6 and 5; I. Wilby beat R. Strahl, 6 and 4; K. McDonald beat A. C. Fraser, 1 up; D. Clark halved with D. R. Hegan. Waitikiri won by 4’/ 2 games to 3V 2 . The match was played at Shirley. HAGLEY v. RAWHITI R. D. Johnston beat R. Arnould, 2 up; L. R. Stringer halved with L. J. Russell; B. W. Walsh beat M. Oates, 3 and 1; F. J. Collins lost to S. W. Fox, 2 down; C. W. Foote beat G. Anderson, 2 and 1; E. E. Burgess beat L. Muirson, 4 and 2; K. G. Lomax halved with R. F. Dunlop; L. S. Jarvie lost to C. O’Neill, 7 and 6. Hagley beat Rawhiti by 5 games to 3. The match was played at Waitikiri. KAIAPOI V. WAIMAIRI R. Bruce-Smith beat J. Anderson, 2 and 1; P. Squire lost to R. Townsend, 2 and 1; R. A. Grimshaw beat J. Hansen, 3 and 2; G. G. Baker lost to W. Ellis, 2 down; M. R. Duncan lost to A. Henderson, 4 and 3; W. Kane beat J. Muldoon, 4 and 3; H. A. Barnett beat T. Collier, 2 and 1; J. E. Monk lost to J. Macer, 3 and 2. The match was halved, four games each. It was played at Rawhiti.
