Cricket UNIVERSITY MATCH

Canterbury Well Placed Otago faced the formidable Canterbury score of 400 at the end of the first day s play in the interuniversity cricket match which began at the Hagley Oval yesterday. Canterbury was all out a few minutes after 5 p.m. At stumps Otago had scored six without loss. The sound Canterbury innings was mainly contributed to by G. Dowling, P Morris, R. Hunter, and C Smith.
