Busy Week Before Departure (New Zealand Press Association) AUCKLAND. April 2. The New Zealand cricket team to tour England faces a whirlwind last week after it assembles in Auck land on Sunday On Monday. Tuesday and Wednesday the team will play a special match against an Auckland eleven, and on Wednesday night the players will be guests at the Auckland Cricket Association’s seventyfifth anniversary dinner. Thursday will be occupied with outfitting and the official team photograph Special net practices will be held on Eden Park No 1 wicket on Thursday and Friday The New Zealand Cricket Council’s farewell luncheort will also be on Friday at 1 p.m. The team will fly from Whenuapai on Saturday at 10.30 a m.
