Report Of Tortures By French
(Rec. 9 p.m.) PARIS, March 20. The French Minister in Algeria, Mr Robert Lacoste, was said to have admitted that 495 French troops in Algeria had been disciplined for using cruelty or torture against Algerian civilians, according to the British United Press. Mr Lacoste was understood to have made the statement at a Socialist Party meeting in Paris.
