Zariba’s Recovery Likely
[N.Z. Pres* Association—Copyright) MELBOURNE, March 19.
Zariba, Timor and Astounding, which were injured when the float carrying them to Sydney went over an embankment near Goulburn, will all race again, said Mr R. Stewart, a Sydney veterinary surgeon, to the trainer, A. Armanasco, after inspecting the injured horses at Goulburn today.
Zariba and Astounding will not race for several months, but it is likely Timor will race at the Brisbane carnivals in June and July. Zariba was cut severely around his off fore pastern and on the head.
