Child Run Over By Truck
(New Zealand Press Association) AUCKLAND, March 9. A two-and-a-half year old child was killed instantly when he was run over by a truck in a Mangere market garden at 2.30 p.m. yesterday. He was: Ellis Paul Popota, whose parents, Mr and Mrs T. P. Popota, live at 31 Fifth avenue, Mangere. The child was playing with some others near a truck which was being loaded with stakes. It moved forward a few feet and the child was crushed.
