Off-course investments with the Totalisator Agency Board on Saturday totalled £437,930 15s, comprising win and place bets of £226,744 and doubles amounting to £211,186 15s. The figures for individual meetings, with off-course substitutes, were:— Ohlnemuri: £69,453 15s (Gay Sailor). Te Awamutu: £13,256 (ForeTeremoana bracket). Taranaki: £37,539 (Golden Roll). Napier: £31,993 5s (Somaliland). Wellington: £202,378 10s (Salaam). Greymouth: £7218 15s (Jack Ashore). Timaru: £25,271 Jss (Fox Able). Dunedin: £38,918 5s (My Friend). Wyndham: £11,901 10s (Aquaplane).
