American Ships Leave \ Lyttelton

About 150 persons assembled on No. 4 wharf at Lyttelton early yesterday morning to see the U.S.S. Ameb and the U.S.S. Greenville Victory leave for Antarctica. Those on the wharf consisted in the main of families with whom some of the sailors had made friends while in port, and young women in parties, couples, and singly.
