REFUGEES FROM HUNGARY
(Rec. 10 pjn.) GETTYSBURG (Pennsylvania). December 29. President Eisenhower yesterday ordered the termination from December 31 of the emergency programme for admitting Hungarian refugees to the United States. •At the same time the White House announced that Mr Elsenhower would renew his request to Congress to grant permanent residence for 32,000 Hungarian refugees now in the United States on parole status. This request was rejected at the last session of Congress.
