(From Our Own Reporter) HOKITIKA, December 29. The weather was fine for the South Island speedboat championships, held at Lake Kaniere today. D. Symes, of New Brighton, in Pacific Spot, during the day won three titles. Results:— 225 c.i. Lake Kaniere Championship, for V-bottomed boats.—Pacific Spot (D. Symes) 1, Javelin (R. Savage) 2, Y Not (T. Orchard) 3. 140 c.i. V-bottom West Coast Championship.—Pacific Spot 1, Javelin 2, Y Not 3. Five Mile Lake Kaniere Unlimited Championship.—Pacific Spot 1, Meteor (R. Weeber) 2, Slip Two (G. Perkins) 3. South Island C Class Outboard Championship.—Missile (E. Andrews) 1, Proton (J. Maitland) 2, The Bomb (I. Ross) 3. Inboard Handicap.—Slip Two 1, My Way (S.
