South African Team For Next Test
(N.Z. Press Association—Copyright) JOHANNESBURG. Dec. 28. Clive van Ryneveld, recovered from an injured hand, will captain South Africa in the second test against Australia, beginning at Cape Town on December 31. The fast bowler, Peter Heine, who took six for 58 in. Australia’s first innings in the first test, and J. Nel were not available because of injury.
The twelve players from which the South African team will be chosen are: C. van Ryneveld, J. McGlew, T. Goddard, W. R. Endean, K. Funston, E. Fuller, R. McLean, G. Steyn, H. Tayfield, R. Westcott, 'J. Waite and N. Adcock.
