MR N. L. STEVENSON
(New,, Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, September 1. The death occurred in Hutt Hospital recently, after a short illness, o* Mr Norman Lloyd Stevenson, chief industrial officer of the New Zealand Railways Department. He was 52. Mr Stevenson joined the railways as a clerical cadet at Christchurch in October, 1920, but transferred to the North Island in the following January. After serving at several stations on the Main Trunk, Mr Stevenson was appointed to the staff division at heact. office in 1926.
