Easterfield Lecture.— The winner of this years Easterfield Medal, Dr- R. E. Corbett,- senior lecturer in chemistry at Otago University, yesterday gave the 1957 Easterfield lecture at the annual conference of the New Zealand Institute of Chemistry and the New Zealand section of the Royal Institute of Chemistry. Dr. Corbett spoke on the “Structural Problems in Essential Oil Chemistry” and illustrated his lecture with slides.
