Vice-Regal Salary Increased
(New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, August 31. The Civil List Amendment Bill passed by the House of Representatives increases the salary of the Governor-General from £5OOO to £6500. It also clarifies the question of when the payment of the Governor-General’s salary and allowances begins and ends.
