INTRODUCING THE COMBINED CHURCHES’ CAMPAIGN.—More than 50,000 leaflets about the mission to Christchurch organised by the National Council of Churches were distributed throughout the city and suburbs on Saturday. This photograph, taken outside the Oxford Terrace Baptist Church, shows the Rev. Roland Hart (left) consulting a street map with some of the young persons who helped in the distribution of the leaflets. Mr Hart is chairman of the mission’s planning committee. The mission will begin on Sunday, September 15.
