Surrender By Terrorist
(Rec. 9 p.m.) IPOH (Northern Malaya), Aug. 31. A terrorist who heard that independence had been proclaimed in Malaya, today walked out of the jungle and surrendered to an Indian plantation worker. Police reported that he said he saw no reason why he should now continue fighting.
