(New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, August 4. Investments with the Totalisator Agency Board for the three racing and hunt meetings held on Saturday totalled £369,109 15s, comprising win and place bets of £194,637, and doubles amounting to £174,472 15s. Totals for individual meetings, with off-course substitutes in parenthesis, were:— Canterbury: £192,647. (Peterford.) Franklin: £92,263 15s. (Sambula.) Hawke’s Bay: £84,199. (None required.)
