COOL STORE AT DUNEDIN

Apple Board Lets Tender (New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, April 10. A tender of £63,279 has been accepted by the Apple and Pear Board for the building of a cool store at Dunedin, said the actingchairman of the board (Mr H. R. Sampson) today. The store, which will hold 60,000 cases, is to be completed by the' end of next January. “The piling contractor has started work on the site already and this means that the board now has four modern cool stores in the process of building,” said Mr Sampson. These were at Motueka, where the large new store recently destroyed by fire is being replaced, Dunedin, Wanganui, where there is to be another 60,000 case store, and Hastings, where a large cool store costing £lOO,OOO is being built
