CAR PASSENGER KILLED
DRIVER SUFFERS MINOR INJURIES (New Zealand Press Association) GISBORNE, December 23. A passenger in a car was killed and the driver was injured in an accident on Awapuni road at 8 p.m. on Saturday. The man killed was William McMillan, aged 34, of Gisborne. The driver, Edward Kennedy, of Gisborne, was admitted to hospital with minor injuries. The two men were travelling towards Gisborne when the car overturned.
