DOG NUISANCE
Sir, —We residents and shopkeepers of New Brighton appeciate that the Christchurch City Council have
appointed a permanent dog ranger inspector. It is to be hoped he will make an early raid on the main shopping street in New Brighton. It is disgraceful to find along Sea View road from the Pier eastwards, excreta cast all over the shop fronts and footpaths. This street seems to be a rendezvous for dogs which appear to wander at random. A raid would be appreciated both by residents and shop-keepers.—Yours, etc., SHOP-KEEPER.
