INDECENT ASSAULT
MAN FINED £42/10/- ON FOUR CHARGES (New Zealand Press Association) AUCKLAND, December 12. A sergeant at the Royal New Zealand Air Force Station, Hobsonville, was fined £42 10s by Mr W. S. Spence, S.M.. when he appeared for sentence on four charges of indecent assault on airmen at the station. He was James Clews, aged 31, a driving instructor. The Court was told earlier that compulsory trainees and regulars were involved in the offences, three of which occurred while Clews was giving driving instruction.
