ICE SPEED SKATING
Sir,—At the last meeting of the New Zealand Skating Association, which defeated a remit about the size of the track, the Cromwell Ice Skating Club (with seven votes in hand) was among the majority who turned down the idea of having all New Zealand speed championships on a 440 yards track. “More Skates should set to work in Cromwell. We in Christchurch know already that speed skating can only be done properly on the rte.. June 29, 1956.
