WIN FOR NEW ZEALAND PLAYER

AUCKLAND, June 11. The New Zealand junior tennis champion. R. Wong, recently gained his first big success in Australia in winning the Victorian junior hardcourt championship. This information came to Auckland in a letter from his coach (F. Sedgman) to the president of the Auckland Lawn Tennis Association (Mr K. J. Hayr), who was largely instrumental in getting Wong to Australia. Wong beat John Sharp in the final of the Vicorian singles, 5-7, 6-2, 6-2.
