Playwright Subpoenaed.— Mr Arthur Miller, the Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright, who was recently in the news as a companion of Marilvn Munro, has been subpoenaed by the House of Representatives’ Un-Ameri-can Activities Committee. Mr Millei. who is in Nevada to obtain a divorce said he received the subpoena in the Reno office of his lawyer. It directs him to appear before the committee in Washington on June 14. He declined to comment other than to say “I will be glad to appear.”—Reno I June 10.
