NEW DAIRY PRODUCE BUILDING PLANNED
A new dairy and domestic produce exhibit building is to be built by the Ellesmere Agricultural and Pastoral Association at its Leeston showgrounds. .The site chosen is between the existing produce building and the western boundary of the ground. It is intended to have the new building erected in concrete blocks. It will have a concrete floor.
The association hopes that the building will be ready for use at the next show.
A working bee of members will be held soon to prepare the site for the new building, to fill in the floor of the present building in preparation for
concreting and other work, including the re-planting of a poplar shelter belt on the east boundary of the ground.
