THE GOLD SEEKER IN ST. CATHARINE’S DOCK, LONDON, BEFORE DEPARTURE FOR THE AUCKLAND ISLANDS.—The Gold Seeker, in which 36-year-old Bill Havens and a crew of seven are sailing for New Zealand to begin therr search for the gold of the General Grant, which is believed to be lying in 16 fathoms off the Auckland Islands. The American clipper foundered in 1886 while carrying 69 passengers and crew, and £2,000,000 worth of gold. All attempts to raise the gold have since failed. RIGHT.
