MOTORIST DIES OF INJURIES
CAR AND VAN COLLIDE (New Zealand Press Association) AUCKLAND, June 8. A young man died on his way to Middlemore Hospital this morning after being injured in a collision between the car he was driving and a light motor van on the Thames highway, about three miles east of the Mangatawhiri Post Office. He was
Lindsay Brownine, aged about 25, of 23 Ladies’ Mile, Remuera, Auckland. His parents are Mr and Mrs M. O. Browning, of Troon crescent, Lower Hutt. The van was driven by Mr R. I. Mitchell, of Panmure, Auckland. He was not injured.
