Authoress Gives Advice To Men On Courting
(Rec. 11 p.m.) LONDON, June 7. A blonde American authoress, Doris Lily, has reached Paris to gather information for the French chapter of her book. ‘‘How to Court in Five Languages.” says the Paris correspondent of the “News Chronicle ”
It will instruct the male traveller how to deal with women elegantly in French. German. Spanish. Italian and Russian. Already she has devised 10 basic rules for men which, she claims, work infallibly. They are:
Never tell a woman she has changed even for the better. That is certain to ruin the evening. Let her choose the beginning of the
evening. You can choose the rest Never tell a woman she reminds you of another one. Do not be too forward. Always laugh at the jokes of pretty women. Never look al another woman. Do not let her realise how uninformed she is. If she asks you whether it is true Stalin was a Communist, you must reply: “Yes, and Churchill shares vour opinion ” Flatter them Women adore to hoar lies about themselves.
