WOMEN’S HOCKEY
N.Z. TEAM HAS EASY WIN AT BRISBANE (N.Z Press Association—Copyright) (Rec. 10 p.m.) BRISBANE, June 5. The New Zealand women’s hockey team today played a combined ToowoombaWarwick team and won 17-0. Scorers were Ives (5), Collins (5), Burton (3), Maxwell (3), and Irene Sanson.
The New Zealand team was too experienced for the country players, the goalkeeper having only one hit during the game.
