N.Z. PLAYERS WIN AT MANCHESTER
LONDON, June 4. In the opening rounds of the northern lawn tennis tournament at Manchester, P. Becroft (New Zealand) beat P. L. Squire (Britain), 6-2, 6-1, in the second round of the men’s singles, and Miss E. Becroft had a win in the first round of the women’s singles.
