N.Z. COACHING SCHOOL
TEN-DAY COURSE IN WELLINGTON (New Zeaia-nn Atsncuitum) WELLINGTON. May 6 Thirty-three athletic students, representing every centre in New Zealand but one. assembled at Scots College: Wellington, today for the national ath. letics coaching school. The only association not represented is Southland. There are seven instructors, including some well-known athletes. During the 10-day course, students will specialise in the study of four events. They will take their practical tests at the course, but will sit their theory examinations in their own centres. The chief instructor is Mr J Hutchinson (Wellington). Other instructors are Messrs J. Bellwood (Auckland), F. Sharpley (Auckland'. S. Dawson (Otago). S. Heron (Auckland). J. Gardner (Auckland), and A. Eustace (West Coast. North Island 1. Murray Halbere. the na'innal mile record-holder, will join the school as an instructor on Thursday.
