U.N. Military Observers
Two officers of the Royal New Zealand Artillery have been selected for military appointments with the United Nations. They are Major P. F. King, D. 5.0., M.C., and Captain H. P. T. Willis, of Wellington, who have been selected as United Nations military observers. Major King will leave Auckland on January 16 to take up an appointment with the military observer group in India and Pakistan. Captain Willis will leave Auckland on January 15 to take up a post as a military observer with the Palestine truce supervision, organisation.—(P. A.)
