A.A.C. COMMITTEES ELECTED
When the council of the Automobile Association (Canterbury) met this week, the following committees were elected:—
Casual vacancy, caused by the resignation from the council of Mr F. W. -Freeman, as vice-president, Mr J. Crew. Finance committee: The treasurer, members of the executive and chairmen of the three committees.
Roads, patrols and service committee, Messrs E. R. Casbolt (convener). W. C. Prosser, J. A. Paton, C. H. Browne, J. Crew. House, billiards, and publicity committee, Messrs A. R. Barnsdale (convener). G. W. Terah. L. W. Broadhead, B. J. Ager, R. Twyneham. Camps committee. Messrs G. W. Terah (convener), W. C. Prosser, J. Crew. E. R. Casbolt, C. H. Browne. Representative on Christchurch Metropolitan Road Safety Committee, Mr B. J. Ager; representative on St. John Ambulance Association, Mr G. W. Tench; representative on Summit Road Scenic Society, Mr F. W. Freeman.
Delegates to 1956 half-yearly meeting of 5.1.M.U., Messrs A. Patterson, A. R. Barnsdale, E. R. Casbolt, C. H. Browne.
