FIRE IN MOTOR WORKSHOP
BUS SLIGHTLY DAMAGED A bus' owned by Newman Brothers, Ltd., was slightly damaged when petrol caught fife in Croydon Motor’s workshops, 300-304 Cashel street, at 2.24 p.m. yesterday. Some benches and tools were also slightly damaged. When the fire was noticed by emoloyees in the workshop, they dragged 11 cars and the bus out into the street. The fire, which is believed to have been caused by a blow-back from a welding torch, was attended by two units from the Central Fire Station.
